- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was a patient of a PA at the clinic who moved on to a new career path so I was assigned to a new MD. When I called to make my appointment, the earliest I could be seen was over THREE MONTHS away. Since it was only for my annual, I made the appointment. Unfortunately, since I work across town, I left early but arrived to my appointment exactly 10 minutes late (no more than 10 minutes). The office policy is that 10 minutes "on the button" is the cut-off. So the attendant went to ask the doctor if she could still see me. Immediately she returned and told me I had to reschedule. The wasn't a doctor in the clinic that had ANY openings within the next two months!!! I know I was late, but seriously, to force a customer who had been patiently waiting for three months to wait another two months for missing the cut-off by one minute is ridiculous. Even if I would have been on time, it is HIGHLY IMPROBABLE that I would have even been seen by the doctor within 10 minutes (as indicated by the past). Within the same hour of being denied by Northridge, I made an appointment to be seen at Mercy Care just up the road within a week.December 26, 2016by A Google User
